Trent Port Marina was such a lovely surprise that we decided to stay two nights instead of one. The marina offered hotel-like showers, free laundry, a friendly staff, and a welcoming transient dock. We were invited to the marina pub for $5 cocktails and drinks the evening we arrived. We met a nice couple from Canada who'd come down the Trent Severn and were waiting for a repair before returning. After drinks, we wandered into town to find the Italian restaurant that everyone was telling us about. Tomasso's Italian Grille did not disappoint. Tony enjoyed the lasagna and Karen enjoyed the seafood fettuccini.

The next day, we said good-bye to the Tinn. We stayed in Trenton to wash the boat, catch up on laundry, and rest. We grilled chicken on the grill at the marina grills for an early dinner and then walked to a park in town for live folk music. It was a productive and then relaxing day.
