We woke up from our overnight rafting on the river with Now or Never, made a cup of instant coffee with boiling water on the propane stove, had a cold breakfast of yogurt and fruit with, and started on our way. Along the way, we encountered the Cliffs of Epes along the TennTombigbee Waterway. These white cliffs are located on the Tombigbee River at Epes, Alabama. They are part of the Selma Chalk formations which were deposited at about the same time as England’s famous White Cliffs of Dover. They were a surprise and a delight along the way!

We arrived in Demopolis to find the best showers yet! There's lots of green grass and a quaint southern town just outside of the marina. Just two more locks and a few days until we reach the Gulf of Mexico!
