It was our 100th voyage yesterday! Our 100th time moving the boat on the Loop! It was perhaps one of the most tiring days and one of the most beautiful days! We were on the part of the Rideau Canal that is considered the most beautiful with canals entering into beautiful blue lakes surrounded by green trees and dotted with houses that looked more like summer resorts with boat docks and swimming areas. The part that made it so tiring was the 10 locks that we entered, going down from the highest point on the Rideau. And it was HOT! We saw swans and swimmers, kayakers and skidoers, the smallest ferry we've every seen, signs that tell us where to turn and to sound our horn before going around the bend, trees and more trees, and warm sunshine all day.
