It felt like another vacation from the loop when we arrived at Killarney Mountain Lodge! We had a beautiful view from the red Manitoulin (Adirondack) chairs at the end of our dock. We attempted to do our loads of free laundry, but found the one machine full. We relaxed at the boat before heading to dinner with Mary and Gary from Volare. It was a short night for.

The next morning, we were up early to do our free loads of laundry! We had breakfast on the boat and relaxed while running back and forth to the laundry. Mary and Gary stopped over and we made a plan to have lunch at Herbert's in town (fish and chips) and then hike to the lighthouse. It was a yummy lunch and an invigorating hike up and over boulders. We took the road back and made it back in time for a swim, relaxing by the pool with a margarita, and a shower before dinner at The Ranch with looper friends - Vince and Pam on Rambler, Mary and Gary of Volare, and Ken and Kathy on Nice Goin. We shared a tomahawk steak, salad, drinks, desserts, stories, and lots of laughs.

The next morning we were greeted by the Viking cruise ship Octantis anchored just outside of the entrance to the river. There were tender ships from the large cruise ship bringing staff and then passengers ashore to enjoy the resort amenities and excursions for the day. We departed mid-morning.
