After waving good bye to the Tinn as it left the lock, we had a quiet couple of days in Lakefield tied up to the wall as Lock #26. We were in the shade, plugged into electricity with a key to the shower, and a short walk to town where we could find groceries, ice cream, butter tarts, and restaurants. We had dinner with Mary and Gary from Valero at the Loon.

There were a few pop up showers the first day and then sunny skies the next day.

The next day, Joel and Jill arrived on Smile with the Rising Sun followed by Mike and Mary from Charmed. Tony and I walked the town in and out of shops. Then we had a beer with Joel at Paddle and Canoe and then Tony and I enjoyed dinner there. We returned to the boat and were invited to play "Catch Phrase" with Joel, Jill, Mary and Mike, as well as two Canadians tied up to the wall with us.
