We arrived in Buffalo under windy conditions out on the lake and in the basin. After secure our lines on the dock, we walked to the library to use more reliable wifi to build our route for the next day. We returned to the boat and had dinner on the boat. We decided to make it an early night since it would be an early morning as Lake Erie was predicted to become calm. We didn't yet know how far we would go the next day. We had a reservation in Ashtabula, but wondered if we might be stuck there for a few days due to the published forecast on the lake. Should we just keep going and make our way home to Port Clinton? Or should we stop along the way and know that we likely wouldn't get home until several days later?
