Happy Thanksgiving! We arrived at Bristol Marina on Tuesday afternoon and got a lesson in tying lines to pilings during low tide in anticipation of high tide from a very helpful Cory, another resident at the marina. Once we lassoed the pilings at the bow and made sure that the boat was secure from all sides bow and stern, we headed the few blocks to downtown Panama City to explore. We found several restaurants, cute shops, a scoop of ice cream from Tony, and a kissing booth. Each of us took a turn at the booth!

The next day, we were picked up by friends Jeff and Lisa Homan to join them at their beachfront condo for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed walks on the beach, a washer and dryer, visit to Publix, sleeping in, laughter, and good food. We enjoyed meeting Mallory's Quinton's family for Thanksgiving dinner. It was fun to be in the warm sunshine and see Christmas decorations at the same time. The temperatures were warm during the day with the sun shining, but chilly in the mornings (44 degrees) and in the evenings when the sun went down.

We returned to the boat on Friday night and prepared for an early morning departure.
