We arrived at our slip outside of Savannah late in the afternoon on Friday. We were greeted by Toledo friends on Nauti Tradition, Nelson and Felicia! Once we were fueled up, we headed to our slip. Becca, the very competent young dockhand, maneuvered the boat with a mid-ship line in the wind and current and flipped us around on the dock before securing us in our slip. Then we had time to give the boat a good wash before preparing dinner on the boat and falling into bed. We were exhausted after a 100+ mile day of traveling for 9+ hours. And we wanted to be rested for a full day in Savannah the next day.

On Saturday, we took an Uber the 4+ miles into Savannah and spent the day on the hop on hop off trolley tour and wandering around the beautiful streets of Savannah. The green spaces and architecture of this old town is spectacular! We enjoyed lunch at Paula Deans restaurant, all we could eat chicken and dumplings, fried catfish, green beans, broccoli casserole, tomato and cucumber salad, cheesy biscuits, macaroni and cheese. Topped off with banana pudding and peach cobbler. Family Style! Later that evening, back at the marina, we enjoyed docktails with Alex and Lorre from the boat Ziggi's Toy and our buddy boat friends Jack and Vickie from Sojourn.

On Sunday, we woke up to do some boat work before taking an Uber to Tybee Island where we toured the lighthouse and the historical grounds surrounding it. We walked from the north beach to the south beach and had a late lunch at Fannie's Seaside. We walked for some ice cream and then luckily found an Uber ride back to the marina. Back at the marine, we found the Ranger Tug Amy Marie docked right behind us. It was good to see her crew, Mike and Beth. We enjoyed docktails with them and Vickie and Jack. It was a Ranger Tug convention!

We went to bed with plans to leave around 9:30 and head to Hilton Head for a few days.
