We left Whitehall late morning after the rain and headed to Chipman Point Marina, a recommended stop by a man named Frank at Coeymans Marina on the fuel dock when we stopped for gas. What we found was a historical treasurer with cha and everything that we needed and more, including self-serve scooped ice cream. We tied up, tidied up, showered, and accepted the gift of a car from Pat, rhe owner, to get to the Wheel Inn to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary.

After dinner, we readied the boat for Kathy and Danny's arrival. They arrived a little after 9pm. We prepared the cockpit for them to sleep, including blowup cushions, canvas covering, sleeping bags, blankets, and sheets. The temperatures went down into the 50s so it was great sleeping for everyone.

The next morning, we made pancakes for breakfast and added strawberries that Kathy brought with her. We then prepared the boat for Kathy to ride with us while Danny took their car onto Fort Ticonderoga and our stop for night.
